About Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is the Zambian side of Victoria Falls — offering the most immersive experience of the world's largest waterfall with the famous Devil's Pool and Livingstone Island experiences. The compact park also protects a pocket of wildlife along the upper Zambezi, including white rhinos reintroduced from South Africa. From the Knife Edge Bridge, you stand directly opposite the main falls with spray drenching you on high-water days. The park is named for the Kololo people's name for the falls — "The Smoke That Thunders" — describing the massive spray column visible for kilometers.
