About Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park is home to Africa's largest elephant concentration — over 120,000 elephants roam this 11,700 km² wilderness, creating one of the most spectacular elephant viewing experiences on Earth. The Chobe River frontage is legendary: during the dry season, enormous herds of 200–300 elephants gather along the riverbanks to drink and bathe, creating a wildlife spectacle visible from boat safaris. The park's four distinct ecosystems — the Chobe Riverfront, Savuti Marsh, Linyanti Swamps, and Nogatsaa/Tchinga grasslands — each offer completely different wildlife experiences.
